The program duration is for 4 years. Which includes Medical and Nursing subjects. The student start with clinical experience from first year onwards. The community health program also included in respective academic year. The maximum hours per week per student shall be 39 hours which include instruction and clinical experience.

Each student must have a certificate of satisfactory attendance, progress and conduct from the Principal of the college of nursing to be eligible for appearing in the University examination. A minimum of 80% attendance is required in theory and practical separately, in each subject. Attendance of 10% may condoned by the vice chancellor on the recommendation of the principal based on genuinity of the case.

There shall be and internal assessment which follows broadly principals enunciated by the university in each subject for which 20 percent of the marks are set apart and these will be added to the final marks in the university examinations.

There shall be a minimum of two assignments and three periodical tests in every subject each year to assess the progress of the candidates.

There will be three sessional examination conducted by the college during each academic year. The examination is for both Theory and Practical. The average of this will be submitted to the university at the end of the academic year.

The students are once again assessed on every unit of the respective subject by taking viva and giving unit test at the end of each unit.

They are also evaluated constantly against every small test to make them perfect prepared to take the academic exam from the university.
