The college provides
the students with a unique and exclusive benefit of
being taught by highly qualified faculty who are specialized
in their fields of interest and experienced in both
academic and research activities. The trained faculty
members provide the students with a challenging work
schedule for wholesome development. Guest lecturers
and visiting faculty from the industry also take classes
to make them in touch with the latest industrial requirement.
Attendance:
A student is required to attend a minimum
of 75% of the total classes conducted during each semester
of the course to be eligible to appear for the University
examinations.
Test/Sessional Examinations:
Weekly tests are conducted
twice a week between 1:30PM and 4:30PM as per the guidelines
of "The Modern GuruKula
System". After completion of three rounds of
tests a round of Sessional examination is conducted.
University Examinations:
University Examinations will be conducted
by Bangalore University in practical and theory subjects
at the end of each semester.
Eligibility to appear for
the University Examinations:
Students should have
attended a minimum of 75% of the Classes conducted
during a semester.
Students should have cleared all
the tests and Sessional examinations conducted during
a semester
Student should have cleared all the
dues in respect of the departments, library and
cash section.
Declaration of results:
The odd semester examination results are
usually declared in the month of March and the even semester
examination results are declared in the month of August.
Award of Degree:
After successful completion of the course,
the candidate will be awarded a Provisional Degree by
the College and the Degree certificate by the Bangalore
University.
Discipline:
The College is a unit of heterogeneous
society in which a large number of people live closely
together. It is therefore essentialthat all the members
have due regard for the rights of others. The disciplinary
committee with Principal as Chairperson, Vice Principal
along with the departmental HODs is available to assist
the students with any problems arising from a breach
of the College rules.
The College rules, which are approved by the discipline
committee, are intended to help preserve a happy and
harmonious atmosphere for all those living and working
in the College.
Students are responsible for ensuring that they observe
University, College
and the Hostel rules at any given point
of time.
College Rules and Norms:
Krupanidhi Degree College is part of the
Krupanidhi Group of Institutions and is affiliated to
the Bangalore University. Hence the rules of Krupanidhi
College and Bangalore University, therefore, apply to
all members of the College. The students must adhere and
follow the rules and norms set from time to time by the
PRINCIPAL, after being approved by the College Management
Committee. These rules must be respected.
Rules:
The campus must be kept
neat and clean.
Behavior which seriously offends
or disturbs other members/departments, or which
causes damage to college property, may lead to disciplinary
action.
Smoking is forbidden in and around
the college.
Students are advised to keep their
mobile phones and electronic gadgets switched off
during the class hours. Defaulters are subjected
to forfeiting of the devices by the disciplinary
committee.
Playing games inside the class rooms
of the College is prohibited.
Abstaining from the classes/practical/tests
is strictly forbidden.
Students must report back to the
college soon after the vacation. Parents co-operation
in this regard is appreciated.
